Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Kamenev gets a double leg takedown into Archer's guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Kamenev (2) vs (0) Archer Kamenev trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kamenev is looking to pass into half guard but Archer pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Archer is in guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. That's nine minutes gone in the round. Archer prevents Kamenev from moving into mount. Archer tries to get back to half guard but can't. Archer manages to get back to half guard. Kamenev trying to control the action but Archer is working from the bottom. Kamenev is really struggling to control Archer but he's trying to hold on to the position.
That's ten minutes gone in the round. Kamenev controlling the pace. Kamenev passes to full mount! Score +3 for passing guard: Kamenev (10) vs (2) Archer Archer is looking to improve his position but Kamenev isn't that keen on the idea.
That's eleven minutes gone in the round. Archer prevents Kamenev from taking his back. Kamenev tries to control but Archer wriggling away. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's twelve minutes gone in the round. Archer is trying to escape the mount.
Archer wants to hold on but Kamenev pushes him away. Kamenev tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's thirteen minutes gone in the round. Archer is in all sorts of trouble here.
Kamenev controlling from the full mount. Archer is squirming around, avoiding Kamenev's attempts to control the action. Archer reaches up to try and control the position but Kamenev seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Archer rolls and tries to escape and now Kamenev has his back!

That's fourteen minutes gone in the round. Archer tries to roll but Kamenev sticks to his back.
Kamenev slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Archer trying to control the hands but Kamenev breaks the grip. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kamenev biding his time, looking for the opening.
Kamenev has the hooks in. Archer is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
