Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blake West (ranked 3899 p4p, 4041 weight class) and Pedro Cejas (ranked 398 p4p, 0 weight class). Blake West has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Blake West! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Pedro Cejas! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Ron Honeybunn and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cejas dives in and grabs West's left leg, looking for a takedown. West pushes down on Cejas's head and hops out. West throws a body shot but no joy. West sets himself, and Cejas steps forward looking for the clinch! West avoids it this time. Nice body kick there by West. Cejas fails with a takedown attempt. West drops down looking for a counter takedown but Cejas sprawls and moves away. Some wild striking there from West.
Horrible takedown attempt by West or perhaps it was just good defense by Cejas, which made it look bad. Cejas avoids the body shot from West.
West takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
It looks like Pedro Cejas has been cut. West gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Cejas holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. West is looking to take this one to the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Blake West. Cejas gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. West tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cejas manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. West pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A low kick from West is predictable there and Cejas counters with a series of strikes. West will be more careful next time no doubt. West fails with an attempt to clinch.

A head kick misses from West. Cejas unleashes a big counter combination but West bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. West gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Cejas holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cejas jumps guard and drags West to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Cejas is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cejas has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but West can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. West controlling from the top position. Cejas lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. West is pulling down on Cejas's head. It's preventing any offense from Cejas, at least for the moment. West not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Cejas won't allow West to get back to his feet. Cejas must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. West manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cejas manages to get himself to full guard.

West stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and West wants it to stay on the feet. Cejas rushes West and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Cejas's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. West looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cejas fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A head kick misses from Cejas. West attempts a counter takedown but Cejas avoids it well and moves away. West looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. West swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cejas is looking to score with low kicks. Cejas shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. West manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. West working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Cejas doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Cejas manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Cejas slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

West escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cejas gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. West looking for a sweep. Not yet West, not yet.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Pedro Cejas. I think Cejas has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
