This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 15 wins and 12 losses; Roman Kersikov!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Juncker fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kersikov stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kersikov wants it to stay on the feet.

Kersikov shoots in but Juncker avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Kersikov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kersikov tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Kersikov's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like Kersikov might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
