Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hali Pojka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jichael Mordan!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pojka fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mordan avoids it really well and circles away.
Mordan is looking for the big counter here.
Pojka takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

It looks like Hali Pojka has been cut.

and Mordan counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Pojka moves forwards but Mordan connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Pojka shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mordan but Mordan pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hali Pojka. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mordan fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Pojka has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mordan throws an overhand right that lands on Pojka's shoulder, as Pojka tries to avoid the shot.

Pojka darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Pojka passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Mordan!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mordan is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Mordan is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Pojka looking to secure an arm triangle but Mordan defends it well.

Pojka working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Mordan turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Pojka off and cradles Mordan's limp body as Pojka celebrates with his corner.
