Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jovani Hendricks (ranked 3284 p4p, 4997 weight class) and Reynaldo Barber (ranked 206 p4p, 271 weight class). Jovani Hendricks had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Jovani Hendricks has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Barber misses.
A counter left hand to the body from Hendricks misses its target.
Hendricks misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Barber counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Barber misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hendricks definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Barber scores with a leg kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hendricks looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Barber has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hendricks chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Barber can pounce on him.
Hendricks tries to clinch but Barber moves out of range.
Hendricks is looking to clinch but Barber is avoiding it.
It seemed like Barber was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Barber connects with a body shot that sends Hendricks's belly button to the back.
A nice leg kick from Barber, right into the meat of the thigh.

Barber swats away the attempt to clinch by Hendricks.

Barber wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Barber seems to be stalking Hendricks here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastating head kick! Hendricks drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
