Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Miles Turner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Scooter Ray!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Darius Henderson and Winston Howard.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Turner, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Turner throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ray lands a nice shot to the body.
Ray avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Miles Turner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ray throws a jab when Turner was well out of range.
Turner throws a nice looking combination but Ray bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Turner lands a really nice looking cross but Ray seems unphased.

It looks like Scooter Ray has been cut.
Turner loads up on a big right hand but Ray slips the punch.
Turner ducks under a wild hook from Ray.
Turner takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Turner misses with an uppercut.
Ray looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Ray closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ray stalling against the cage.

Turner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Turner looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Ray moves out of range as Turner throws a body kick.
Turner fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Ray closes the distance and pushes Turner back into the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Turner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Turner pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Ray back to the cage. Turner follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Turner lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ray backs up against the cage.
Ray lands with a hook. Turner tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Ray thuds a left hand into Turner's body.
Turner is breathing heavily.
Nice straight punches there by Ray. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Ray.
Ray works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ray getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Ray drops Turner with a huge uppercut! Turner drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Ray is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scooter Ray!
Our winner, Scooter Ray, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
