Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pekka Haalvisto (ranked 4362 p4p, 3226 weight class) and Ricky Reyes (ranked 264 p4p, 211 weight class). Haalvisto's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Fintelligens - Stockholm-Helsinki. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pekka Haalvisto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ricky Reyes!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haalvisto lands with an overhand left.
Reyes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Haalvisto pinned against the cage. Haalvisto gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Reyes doesn't manage to clinch there - Haalvisto circles away.
Haalvisto scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Haalvisto scores with a jab. Reyes acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Reyes has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Reyes has a takedown stuffed.
Reyes drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Haalvisto tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Haalvisto on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Haalvisto tries to get out of the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Reyes jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Haalvisto manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Reyes is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Haalvisto knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Reyes tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Reyes has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Reyes is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Haalvisto is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Reyes thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Haalvisto tries to escape but Reyes is in control.
Reyes looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Reyes has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Haalvisto!
Reyes working for a guillotine from mount but Haalvisto is in no mood to give up.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Reyes is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Haalvisto is forced to tap! Great finish!
