Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Martin Burns (ranked 2523 p4p, 1455 weight class) and Colin Nox (ranked 280 p4p, 178 weight class). Burns comes to the cage accompanied by will ospreay theme. Nox comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Mobb Deep - Shook Ones kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Martin Burns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Colin Nox!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nox throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
A solid body kick from Nox.
A combination from Nox does no damage.
Burns is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Nox.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Burns is defended easily by Nox.
Nox feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Burnss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Burns bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Nox throws Burns to one side and escapes!
Burns is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nox looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Burns fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nox avoids it really well and circles away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nox lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Burns doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Nox counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Martin Burns. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Burns takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Burns is rocked!

Burns closes the distance and clinches.
Oh Burns is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Burns jumps guard but Nox turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Nox pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nox connects with a good right hand that stumbles Burns. Burns circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Nox swinging wildly here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nox tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Burns misses with a body punch
and Nox counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Nox looks at the referee who does nothing so Nox lands a crushing right that sends Burns to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Colin Nox!
Colin Nox bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
