The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glover fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Glover swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lawson misses with a series of wild punches.
Lawson looks for a takedown but Glover sprawls well.
Lawson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Glover.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lawson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Glover as he jumps to the side.
Glover was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Glover cracks Lawson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Glover has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Lawson to stand back up!
Glover fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Lawson checks it well.
Lawson with the counter takedown but Glover avoids it easily.
Glover lands a slapping body shot.
Lawson looks winded!
Glover misses with a body shot.
Lawson changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Glover looks to land a body kick but Lawson moved away.
Glover lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Lawson is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lawson is aggressively charging in as Glover backs up avoiding any damage. Glover tosses out a jab and Lawson runs right into it face first! Lawson is out cold! Glover dropped down on all fours and is barking in Lawson's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
