Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andre Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sigandi Legend Timo!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith slips a straight right by Timo.
Smith blocks a jab.
Smith defending well as Timo loads up on a big left hand.
Timo throws the left hand but Smith avoids the punch easily.
Smith tries to clinch up but Timo circles away and keeps his distance.
Timo throws a hook but Smith avoids it easily.
Smith is looking to counter with a body kick.
Smith staying out of range there.
Smith looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Timo is fending him off so far but Smith persists. Nope, Timo circles away and we're back to standing.
Timo misses with an uppercut.
Smith thinks about countering with a head kick.
Smith will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Smith tries to score a power double leg takedown but Timo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Smith somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andre Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It looks like Andre Smith has been cut.
Smith tries to clinch there but Timo circles away.
Smith displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Timo throws out the jab.
Smith drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith is fighting to break Timo's control of his arms but Timo is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Smith will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Smith trying to control the position from guard on top but Timo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Timo is looking for a triangle here but Smith uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Timo is throwing a few token shots, despite Smith being in side control.
Timo is looking to regain half guard here but Smith keeps moving and retains side control.
Smith working away.
Timo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smith. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
A control attempt from Timo but he's now mounted!
Timo can't escape the position.
Timo is squirming around, avoiding Smith's attempts to control the action.
Timo is desperately trying to improve his position but Smith has a good base and remains in mount.
Timo wants to control but Smith is having none of it.
Timo looks winded!

Timo working to try and regain half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee warns Timo that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Smith in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Smith tries to control but Timo wriggling away.
Smith throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Timo has his hands clasped together but Smith breaks the hold and Timo is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Smith!
