The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waters uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lowery.
Waters tries for a takedown but Lowery circles away easily
and Lowery connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Mario Waters has been cut.
Waters tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lowery defends well and Waters ends up having to push Lowery into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Lowery as Waters shoots in.
Arturo Lowery has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mario Waters.
Lowery lands a big right hand that sends Waters crashing to the mat! Lowery stays standing though and waves Waters back to his feet!
Waters is rocked!
Waters leaves his chin hanging out and Lowery seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Waters crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
