Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Saul Jackson (ranked 2861 p4p, 4065 weight class) and Rafael Darren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darren has chosen Yeah! as his entrance music. Saul Jackson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Saul Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rafael Darren! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson connects with the punch. Darren throws a sloppy head kick and Jackson moves out of range easily. Jackson misses with a hook. Darren ducked under it nicely. A big right from Jackson misses. As Jackson backs off Darren throws a huge counter combo but Jackson manages to avoid it all. Darren throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Darren shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jackson's guard. Jackson wants to stand but Darren is controlling the position. Darren trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Darren stops Jackson from standing up. Jackson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Darren sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Jackson's guard. Darren wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jackson keeps working. Jackson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Darren on the ground. Jackson wants to get back to his feet.
Darren is trying to control. Jackson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Darren throws a right and a left that Jackson avoids nicely. Jackson throws a hook but Darren avoids it easily. Darren wants to counter the offense by Jackson and move into the clinch position. A head kick misses from Darren. Darren takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
It looks like Rafael Darren has been cut. Jackson blocks a head kick by Darren.
Darren misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jackson swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. A head kick misses from Darren. Darren looks winded! Jackson lands a big right hand that sends Darren crashing to the mat! Jackson stays standing though and waves Darren back to his feet!
Darren is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Jackson weaves into range and cracks Darren right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Darren goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Jackson is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Saul Jackson!
