The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meyer takes a swing at Brown's ribcage but misses.

Brown jabs Meyer right on the nose. Meyer blinks but takes it well.
Meyer doesn't manage to clinch there - Brown circles away.
Brown throws a big counter combination but Meyer scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Brown keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Meyer bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Brown throws a head kick that misses.
Meyer avoids the head kick by Brown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Meyer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
