Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joao Cajo Branca (ranked 3343 p4p, 1183 weight class) and Karel Sup (ranked 370 p4p, 141 weight class). Branca comes into the arena with original score medley blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joao Cajo Branca!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Karel Sup!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sup lands a nice shot that snaps Branca's head back.
Branca uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sup.
Branca loads up on a big right hand but Sup slips the punch.
Sup lands a glancing blow to the side of Branca's head.
Branca throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sup sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Sup goes for a double leg but Branca avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Branca continues to drive forward.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Sup. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
