Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mitsugi Kitahachi (ranked 5158 p4p, 4128 weight class) and Ricky Reyes (ranked 438 p4p, 247 weight class). Kitahachi comes to the cage accompanied by Fly-day Chinatown. Mitsugi Kitahachi has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyes moves in looking to clinch but Kitahachi pushes him off.
Reyes changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kitahachi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Reyes tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Reyes has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Reyes is trying to get an arm triangle but Kitahachi is defending well.
Reyes tries to move into full mount but can't pass Kitahachi's legs.
Kitahachi is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Reyes working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Reyes has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Kitahachi is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Reyes yanks on the arm and Kitahachi is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Reyes.
