The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyueds fails with a takedown attempt.
Johnson takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Tyueds is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Johnson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Tyueds is looking to break free of the clinch but Johnson has double underhooks.
Johnson is trying to trip Tyueds. He has hold of a leg but Tyueds is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Johnson persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Tyueds has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Johnson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Tyueds escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Johnson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Tyueds has momentary wrist control but Johnson slips an elbow through the middle.

Johnson tries to stand but Tyueds is controlling from the bottom.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Johnson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tyueds circles away quickly and effectively.

and Johnson counters with a three punch combo that has Tyueds backing up. Tyueds nods at Johnson to acknowledge the strikes.

Johnson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
