Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chad Hunter (ranked 4709 p4p, 24258 weight class) and Mohamed Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mohamed Grant has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Hunter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mohamed Grant! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grant darts in trying to clinch letting Hunter counter with a right hand.
It looks like Mohamed Grant has been cut. Hunter scores with a hook. Grant goes for a double leg but Hunter avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hunter continues to drive forward. Hunter bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Grant gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Hunter connects with a jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hunter shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Grant being controlled here, momentarily. Hunter chips away with some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunter throws a big elbow that misses. Hunter is looking to work some ground and pound but Grant has wrist control. Grant looking to control.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Grant is on top in guard.
Hunter has Grant pulled in close to control his posture. Hunter has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Hunter's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a sustained period of stalling by Hunter. Grant preventing the sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hunter pulls Grant in close to his closed guard and prevents Grant from doing any damage or advancing position. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Hunter throws a series of punches but Grant avoids them all with ease.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunter lands a jab to the head.
Grant tries to bum rush Hunter with a series of wild strikes but Hunter uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Hunter avoids a kick to the body.
Hunter swats away the attempt to clinch by Grant. Hunter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Grant moves away. Hunter pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Grant tries to move into range but Hunter moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Grant shoots for a takedown but Hunter saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Grant misses with a takedown attempt enabling Hunter to counter with a crisp jab. Chad Hunter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mohamed Grant. Hunter displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Grant. Grant is looking to clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Good exchange - Hunter coming out on top. A head kick by Grant misses and Hunter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Hunter lands an overhand right. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hunter throws a body punch but Grant moves out of range. Grant misses with a takedown attempt - Hunter sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Grant looks winded! Hunter stuffs the takedown. Hunter lands a nice looking body shot.
Grant doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Hunter changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Hunter throws a nice looking combination but Grant bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Hunter lands a nice shot that snaps Grant's head back.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Chad Hunter dominated that round. The cut man is working on Mohamed Grant's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Hunter dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Grant shoots in but no luck this time. Chad Hunter is winning the standup battle so far. Hunter connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Grant! He's out on his feet! Hunter rushes in and drops Grant with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Chad Hunter! Chad Hunter spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
