The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Mondiou goes for a double leg but Hageman avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hageman continues to drive forward.
Diego Hageman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mondiou had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hageman defends it easily.

Mondiou is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Hageman defends well.

Hageman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Mondiou pushes a forearm under Hageman's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Hageman is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
