Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cruz Laime (ranked 5545 p4p, 3607 weight class) and Zahar Krulov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laime comes to the cage accompanied by Chambea. Laime has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Cruz Laime!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Zahar Krulov!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Daniel Franklin and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laime tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Laime swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Krulov decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Laime's guard.
Krulov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Krulov's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Krulov's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Krulov is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Laime knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Krulov on the ground.
Laime is breathing heavily.
Krulov lands a couple of digs.
Krulov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Krulov keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Laime's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Laime has momentary wrist control but Krulov slips an elbow through the middle.
Laime not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Krulov cracks Laime with a solid left hand.
Krulov works over Laime with some ground and pound from guard.
Krulov slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Krulov scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Laime is rocked!

Oh Laime is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Krulov arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Laime's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Zahar Krulov!
A relieved looking Zahar Krulov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Cruz Laime was interviewed post fight and said 'This ain't over yet...'.
