The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wells scores with a punch to the head.
It looks like Zé Jiurgite has been cut.
Jiurgite misses with a hook. Wells ducked under it nicely.
Wells is looking to counter the offense by Jiurgite and move into the clinch.
Jiurgite finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Wells throws a body punch but Jiurgite moves out of range.
Jiurgite misses with an uppercut
and Wells counters with a three punch combo that has Jiurgite backing up. Jiurgite nods at Wells to acknowledge the strikes.
Nice jab there from Wells.
Nice uppercut lands for Wells. That snapped Jiurgite's head back.
Jiurgite is rocked!
Wells lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Jiurgite head around and knocks him out cold! Wells hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Noah Wells!
