Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pitter Patter (ranked 3992 p4p, 4781 weight class) and Rafael Darren (ranked 392 p4p, 0 weight class). Darren is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Yeah!. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pitter Patter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rafael Darren!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darren pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Patter connects with a crisp jab.
Darren throws a body shot but no joy.
Darren shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Patter napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Patter tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Darren wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Patter looking for a sweep but Darren has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Darren takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Darren tries to control but Patter wriggling away.
Darren thowing shots but they're missing.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Darren tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Patter is squirming around, avoiding Darren's attempts to control the action.
Darren might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Patter haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Patter is desperately trying to improve his position but Darren has a good base and remains in mount.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Patter is looking to improve his position but Darren isn't that keen on the idea.

Darren throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Darren tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Darren misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Darren tries to keep at a distance but Patter has taken the fight into the clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Patter.
Patter lands a shoulder strike.
Darren has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Patter keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Darren's efforts to push away.
Patter gets through Darren's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A nice left hand lands by Patter.
Patter on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Darren tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Patter smiles and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Patter instigates a clinch.
A right hand to the body from Patter.
Darren tries to break free but Patter pushes him back against the cage.
Patter lands an uppercut.
Patter lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Patter has Darren pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Patter pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Darren tumbling to the mat - Patter dives into Darren's guard.
Darren is breathing heavily.
Patter pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Darren is keeping the position for now.
Patter controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Darren is trying to keep Patter in close.
Patter stands up and waves to Darren to follow him.
Patter darts in and clinches Darren up against the cage.
Nice body punch from Patter.
Patter lands with a short punch from the clinch.
A short right from Patter on the inside.
Patter lands a shoulder strike.

Patter presses Darren against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Patter throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Darrens head.
Patter lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Patter lands a nice uppercut.
Darren is rocked!
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Patter creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Darren is still on wobbly legs! Can Patter finish him?
Patter scores with an uppercut up the middle.
A nice left hand lands by Patter.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Patter.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Patter throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Darrens head.
Patter lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
A body shot lands from Patter.
A shot in the inside from Patter.
Patter lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Patter working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Patter creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Darren's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Darren drops to his knees and Patter pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pitter Patter!
