Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gyukosho Fujimoto (ranked 19092 p4p, 23620 weight class) and Omnicron Bilesdon (ranked 433 p4p, 249 weight class). Gyukosho Fujimoto has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 44 - 35 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gyukosho Fujimoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Omnicron Bilesdon!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paulsen Ambrosius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bilesdon clinches with his opponent.
Bilesdon tries to pull guard but Fujimoto won't allow it.
Bilesdon is trying to pull guard but Fujimoto turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Fujimoto has had enough of the clinch but Bilesdon keeps him there for the moment.

Fujimoto escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bilesdon gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Fujimoto to counter with a crisp jab.
Gyukosho Fujimoto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Omnicron Bilesdon.
A punch combination from Fujimoto misses.
Fujimoto could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The fighters circling - Fujimoto throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

and Bilesdon counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fujimoto won't be happy with that.

Bilesdon is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fujimoto is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Fujimoto throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

A solid leg kick lands there for Bilesdon.

Bilesdon darts in and clinches Fujimoto up against the cage.

Fujimoto escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bilesdon shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A little feinted left hand from Fujimoto on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Fujimoto loads up on a big right hand but Bilesdon slips the punch.

Bilesdon closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Fujimoto has had enough of the clinch but Bilesdon keeps him there for the moment.
Fujimoto is trying to break the clinch but Bilesdon is controlling him.

Fujimoto breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fujimoto takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bilesdon shoots in for a takedown but Fujimoto shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
It appears Fujimoto was looking to counter with a kick there.
Bilesdon shoots in looking for a takedown but Fujimoto manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bilesdon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Fujimoto tries a head kick but it misses.

Bilesdon has Fujimoto up against the cage in a clinch.

Bilesdon gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fujimoto tries to kick Bilesdon off but Bilesdon keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Omnicron Bilesdon dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.


Bilesdon manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Fujimoto on his heels. He'll look to pass Fujimoto's guard now, I'm sure.

Fujimoto is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Bilesdon presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Fujimoto breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bilesdon gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Bilesdon looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
A little feinted left hand from Fujimoto on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Bilesdon.
Fujimoto wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Omnicron Bilesdon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Good exchange - Fujimoto coming out on top.
Fujimoto rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Bilesdon counters with a takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bilesdon in side control, throwing shots but Fujimoto defends.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Omnicron Bilesdon has got the better of the ground game so far.

Bilesdon working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Fujimoto is pushing Bilesdon's head away, looking to escape. Bilesdon manages to hold on to the position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bilesdon throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Fujimoto because Bilesdon loaded up on that one.

Bilesdon has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bilesdon misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Bilesdon jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Fujimoto manages to avoid the submission attempt.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Omnicron Bilesdon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Bilesdon fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Fujimoto.

Bilesdon lands a left and a right that send Fujimoto crashing to the mat, dazed. Bilesdon thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Gyukosho Fujimoto has been cut.
Fujimoto on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Bilesdon throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Fujimoto was covering up waiting for the punch and Bilesdon finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Fujimoto is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Bilesdon dives into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!


Bilesdon decides to stand up, so the ref orders Fujimoto to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Bilesdon shoots in looking for a takedown but Fujimoto manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bilesdon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Bilesdon closes the distance and clinches.
Fujimoto has had enough of the clinch but Bilesdon keeps him there for the moment.
Bilesdon keeps control of Fujimoto as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Bilesdon throws a knee to the head but misses.
Bilesdon has Fujimoto pressed against the cage, preventing Fujimoto from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Fujimoto is trying to break the clinch but Bilesdon is controlling him.
Fujimoto wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bilesdon has him pressed against the cage.
Fujimoto looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Bilesdon has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Fujimoto uses from the top position.
Bilesdon bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fujimoto's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bilesdon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Bilesdon thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Bilesdon decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Bilesdon throws a head kick that Fujimoto semi-blocks.

Bilesdon rushes Fujimoto and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Fujimoto looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Bilesdon manages to pull guard.
Fujimoto is fighting to break Bilesdon's control of his arms but Bilesdon is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bilesdon is on top in guard.


Bilesdon stands and steps away. Fujimoto gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Bilesdon.
Gyukosho Fujimoto has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Bilesdon is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Fujimoto will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Omnicron Bilesdon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bilesdon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
