Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hoss Dukes (ranked 4228 p4p, 4291 weight class) and Bo Hampton (ranked 444 p4p, 449 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hoss Dukes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bo Hampton! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hampton gets a clinch. Hampton jumps guard but Dukes turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Hampton is trying to drag Dukes to the mat but Dukes just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Hampton is looking to take this one to the mat. Hoss Dukes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bo Hampton. Hampton looking for a takedown. Hampton has Dukes pressed against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hampton wants to take the fight to the mat but Dukes manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Hampton wants to get back to striking at distance but Dukes won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hampton takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Hampton with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Dukes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Dukes swings away with a body shot that misses
and Hampton counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Hampton stops Dukes from getting back to his feet.
Hampton keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Let's hope that Hampton has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Hampton prevents Dukes from standing back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hampton perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dukes keeping hold of Hampton's head, controlling as best he can.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Hampton avoids the head kick by Dukes.
Dukes rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hampton moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Dukes scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Hampton shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dukes but Dukes pushes him off and we're back to square one. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hampton moves into the clinch. Hampton using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Dukes has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dukes looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Hampton displaying some good clinch control by pressing Dukes up against the cage. Hampton pulls guard successfully.
Dukes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hampton on the ground. Dukes wants to get up but he can't break Hampton's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Dukes stopping the sweep attempt from Hampton.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hampton is controlling Dukes's posture. Dukes won't allow Hampton to sweep him here. Dukes wants to stand but Hampton is controlling his posture from full guard. Hampton not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hampton attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Hampton shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dukes manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Dukes is pulling down on Hampton's head. It's preventing any offense from Hampton, at least for the moment. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Bo Hampton will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Dukes throws a right and a left that both miss. Hampton only half commits to the counter leg kick. A decent looking cross lands there for Dukes. Dukes throws the kick towards the body but Hampton avoids it. Dukes sets himself, and Hampton steps forward looking for the clinch! Dukes avoids it this time. Dukes throws a low kick but it's checked well by Hampton. Hampton tries to keep at a distance but Dukes has taken the fight into the clinch. Hampton is looking to break free of the clinch but Dukes has double underhooks. Dukes prevents Hampton from breaking the clinch. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Hampton has eaten all the pies! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hampton is trying to pull guard but Dukes has him pressed against the cage. Dukes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Hoss Dukes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dukes throws a head kick that Hampton semi-blocks.

A lazy left from Dukes finds it's target. Hampton pushes Dukes up against the cage in a clinch. Dukes breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Hampton looking to score a takedown here. Dukes is defending well but Hampton drives through and ends up in Dukes's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The fighters are working up against the cage. Dukes manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Hampton has Dukes pressed against the cage, preventing Dukes from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Dukes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Dukes loads up on a big right hand but Hampton slips the punch. A little jabbing left from Hampton on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Dukes darts in looking for a takedown but Hampton gets double underhooks and turns Dukes into the cage. Hampton keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Dukes's efforts to push away. Hampton tries to pull guard but Dukes holds him up against the cage and eventually Hampton drops back down to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Dukes prevents Hampton from breaking the clinch. Dukes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Dukes throws out a powerful jab. Dukes is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hampton can do to turn this around? Nice defenses there by Dukes. Good exchange - Dukes coming out on top. Hampton tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dukes swats him away and circles back towards the center. Hampton misses with a hook. Dukes pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hampton shoots in and gets a takedown into Dukes's guard. Hampton controls from within his opponent's guard. Dukes is trying to control the position but Hampton postures up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Hoss Dukes dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round! Dukes misses with an uppercut. Hampton takes the fight into the clinch. Hampton taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Hampton throws a combination that misses and Dukes counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Hampton moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hampton throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Hampton looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. A punch lands to the side of Hampton 's head but he takes it in his stride.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. A jab from Dukes finds it's way through Hampton's defenses. Hampton defending well as Dukes loads up on a big left hand. Dukes thuds his right hand into Hampton's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Dukes is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Dukes throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hampton feints and as Dukes raises his hands in defense, Hampton changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Hampton looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Hampton wants to control from the top but Dukes keeps moving. Hampton controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hampton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dukes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Hampton slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Hampton wants to control from the top but Dukes keeps moving. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Dukes can't keep his opponent in guard - Hampton advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Dukes pushes Hampton off looking to stand but Hampton dives back in and keeps control.
Hampton not landing any meaningful shots this time. Hampton trying to work for an americana but Dukes has managed to regain full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bo Hampton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hoss Dukes is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hampton ducks under a wild hook from Dukes.
And that's the end of the fight! Hoss Dukes showed his dominance in that final round. I think Dukes has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
