Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hoss Dukes (ranked 4228 p4p, 4291 weight class) and Bo Hampton (ranked 444 p4p, 449 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hampton gets a clinch.
Hampton jumps guard but Dukes turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Hampton is trying to drag Dukes to the mat but Dukes just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Hampton is looking to take this one to the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dukes rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hampton moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Hampton shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dukes but Dukes pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
