The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holgerson throws a body kick that misses.
Despite the aggression on Niemi's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Holgerson fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Niemi checks it well.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Holgerson.
Niemi works over Holgerson's head and body with a nice combination.

Holgerson drives through and clinches with Niemi against the cage.
Holgerson can't break the clinch.
Holgerson tries to break the clinch but Niemi is controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Niemi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Holgerson throws the kick towards the body but Niemi avoids it.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Holgerson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
