And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 3 wins and 11 losses; Filmore Everett!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Everett tries to score a power double leg takedown but Boxaaja sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Everett somewhat.

Boxaaja manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Everett on his heels. He'll look to pass Everett's guard now, I'm sure.

Boxaaja is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Everett is just riding it out for now. Boxaaja eventually gives up the hold.
Everett is looking for a sweep. Boxaaja is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Everett can do anything to dispel that myth.

Boxaaja has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Everett is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
