The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferguson swings away with a body shot that misses
and Cholo counters with a straight right hand.
Cholo goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Cholo looks to land a left hand but Ferguson moved out of range nicely.
Ferguson tried to counter with a leg kick but Cholo avoided it.
Cholo throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
BIg Cholo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cholo just misses with a punch to the body.
Ferguson seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Cholo throws an overhand right that lands on Ferguson's shoulder, as Ferguson tries to avoid the shot.

Cholo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looked like Ferguson wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

and Ferguson counters with a nice right hand that sends Cholo toppling to the canvas! Cholo scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Ferguson finish him?!

It looks like BIg Cholo has been cut.

and Ferguson counters with a crisp right that sends Cholo to the canvas! Ferguson follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

After the fight, Khabib Ferguson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
