The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jcool doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Glover counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Abdul Jcool seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

It looks like Abdul Jcool has been cut.
Jcool looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Glover is fending him off so far but Jcool persists. Nope, Glover circles away and we're back to standing.
Glover swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Glover misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Glover lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jcool circles away quickly and effectively.
Glover ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Glover cracks Jcool with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Jcool falls to his knees and Glover doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
