Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Common Carp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Johannes Balrog!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balrog takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Carp fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Balrog ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Balrog has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Carp looks to land a left hand but Balrog moved out of range nicely.
Carp bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Balrog's head.
Balrog shoots and misses
and Carp counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Carp cracks a nice hook into Balrog's ribs.

A jab lands there for Carp.

Balrog moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
It looks like Johannes Balrog has been cut.
Carp fakes the body blow, causing Balrog to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Balrog goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
