Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Sabrol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Shao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Sabrol might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Snap Your Fingers Snap Your Neck. Ricardo Sabrol has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shao steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sabrol.
Sabrol doesn't manage to clinch there - Shao circles away.
Shao swats away the attempt to clinch by Sabrol.
Sabrol fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Shao.
Sabrol fails with a takedown attempt.
Sabrol looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sabrol throws a jab but it's blocked by Shao.
Shao has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sabrol finds it's way round the side to connect with Shao's head.

Shao moves forwards but Sabrol connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Sabrol fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Shao takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Sabrol shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricardo Sabrol. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shao needs to keep his hands up - Sabrol had a free shot at his head there.

Sabrol darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Sabrol is looking to take a break and control but Shao is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Sabrol is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sabrol is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Sabrol looking to isolate an arm here. Shao doesn't see it coming and as Sabrol extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Sabrol!
