Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raiden Wallace (ranked 4067 p4p, 4345 weight class) and Sean Oliveiria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wallace closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wallace lands in his opponent's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wallace accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Wallace stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Oliveiria swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Oliveiria is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Wallace wants to get back to full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Wallace escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Oliveiria gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Wallace throws his legs up looking for a submission but Oliveiria uses it to pass to side control.

Wallace working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Oliveiria doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oliveiria manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close round but I would say that Raiden Wallace will probably get the nod.
