Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hans Job (ranked 3877 p4p, 4618 weight class) and Vanderlei Sao Paulo (ranked 348 p4p, 387 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hans Job!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Vanderlei Sao Paulo!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Ben Watson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Job throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Sao Paulo counters with a nice low kick that buckles Job's knee momentarily.
Job lands with an uppercut that bounces Sao Paulo off the cage and back into range.
Sao Paulo shoots in but no luck this time.
It looked like Job wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Job definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Job throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sao Paulo counters with an outside leg kick.
Job misses with an uppercut.

Sao Paulo closes the distance and pushes Job back into the cage.
Sao Paulo is looking for a takedown.
Sao Paulo goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sao Paulo is trying to drag Job to the mat but Job just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Job is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Sao Paulo is keeping busy.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Sao Paulo lands a good knee to the midsection. Job won't want to take too many of those.

Sao Paulo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sao Paulo moves out of range of the leg kick from Job.
Sao Paulo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Job avoids it really well and circles away.

and Job counters with a nice uppercut.
Sao Paulo dives in and grabs Job's left leg, looking for a takedown. Job pushes down on Sao Paulo's head and hops out.

Vanderlei Sao Paulo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sao Paulo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Sao Paulo gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Job leaning against his opponent.
Sao Paulo tries to score a body lock takedown but Job shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Job swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Sao Paulo manages to break the clinch.
Job connects with a nice looking jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Sao Paulo rushes Job and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Job trying to control the position but instead, Sao Paulo has worked for underhooks and has pushed Job into the cage.
Sao Paulo tries to pull guard but Job forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Hans Job dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Sao Paulo misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sao Paulo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Job sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sao Paulo somewhat.
A little feinted left hand from Job on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Hans Job is winning the standup battle so far.
Job thuds a left hand into Sao Paulo's body.
Job is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sao Paulo can do to turn this around?

Job pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Sao Paulo tries to clinch up but Job circles away and keeps his distance.
Job throws a big counter combination but Sao Paulo scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Sao Paulo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Job scores with a jab to the body.
Sao Paulo misses with a takedown attempt - Job sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hans Job has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vanderlei Sao Paulo.
