And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 40 wins and 47 losses; Anthony Lavicci!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and Sam Margolis.


The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Kulik has managed to clinch.

Kulik has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Lavicci is trying to keep an underhook but Kulik manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Kulik really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kulik's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lavicci holds on and takes a little breather.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Kulik has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Kulik wants to control but Lavicci is keeping him busy.

Lavicci is looking to regain half guard here but Kulik keeps moving and retains side control.
Lavicci tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.

Lavicci wants to hold on but Kulik pushes him away.

Lavicci prevents Kulik from taking his back.
Kulik trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Lavicci slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kulik content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

And that's the end of the fight!
Kulik takes the fight on points by 9 to 2.
