Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sean O Neil (ranked 3207 p4p, 5181 weight class) and Imai Cosmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cosmo has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sean O Neil!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Imai Cosmo!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Neil shoots in but no luck this time.
O Neil closes the distance and clinches up with Cosmo, looking for a takedown. O Neil pushes Cosmo against the cage but Cosmo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
O Neil fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Cosmo avoids it really well and circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sean O Neil. That's going to take a lot out of him.
O Neil fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Cosmo to the ground. O Neil is now in Cosmo's guard.
O Neil stands and throws Cosmo's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Cosmo looks winded!
O Neil working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
O Neil has an Americana. Cosmo didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! O Neil is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if O Neil hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Sean O Neil!
An out of breath Sean O Neil thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
