The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Strong throws the kick towards the body but Pumpkins avoids it.

Strong lands with an overhand left.
Pumpkins just misses with a punch to the body.
Strong quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Strong tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Pumpkins is able to avoid easily.
Strong throws a nice outside leg kick.
Pumpkins avoids a kick to the body.
Pumpkins looks to throw the jab but Strong is out of range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Strong. Pumpkins does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pumpkins throws the left hand but Strong avoids the punch easily.

Pumpkins takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Strong throws the left hand but Pumpkins avoids the punch easily.
Pumpkins dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Strong tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Strong avoids a punch combination nicely.
Pumpkins missing with a left hand there. Strong was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Pumpkins throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Strong sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Strong's corner calls for a 1-2. Strong obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Strong misses with a head kick.
Strong tries to land a leg kick but Pumpkins saw it coming and moves away.
Strong seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pumpkins drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Strong scores with a hook.
Strong throws the kick towards the body but Pumpkins avoids it.
Pumpkins throws a series of punches but Strong avoids them all with ease.
Strong throws a push kick but Pumpkins slaps the foot to one side.
A little jabbing left from Pumpkins on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Strong uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pumpkins.

and Strong cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Pumpkins takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Strong throws a wild body kick that Pumpkins sees coming a mile off.
Strong misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Strong lands a big head kick that sends Pumpkins tumbling to the mat! Strong takes a step backwards and waves Pumpkins back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Pumpkins is rocked!
Strong scores with a hook to the body. Pumpkins takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Pumpkins is still on wobbly legs! Can Strong finish him?

Pumpkins seems to have recovered his senses.

and Strong finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Strong engages and cracks Pumpkins with a massive lead left hook - Pumpkins tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Strong is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
