Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between HW Jones (ranked 3965 p4p, 3308 weight class) and Tike Myson (ranked 419 p4p, 358 weight class). Tike Myson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, HW Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tike Myson!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jones shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Myson! But no joy.
Jones attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Myson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jones eats them both and turns towards Myson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Myson throws a series of strikes that have Jones backpedaling.
Jones scores with a hook to the body. Myson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Myson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jones.

Myson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

and Myson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Jones shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Myson is trying to defend but Jones finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Myson manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Myson has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Jones is on him like a limpet, forcing Myson back against the cage.

Jones doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Jones takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jones shoots in looking for a takedown but Myson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jones's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Myson throws out a counter right but Jones avoids it with no problem.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Myson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jones has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jones and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jones dives in and grabs Myson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Myson pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.
