Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Lash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lash wants to clinch.
Lash looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lash shoots in for a double leg but Doe sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Doe stuffs the takedown attempt from Lash. Lash gets slowly back to his feet.
John Doe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Lash.
Lash is looking to clinch.

Doe clinches up with Lash and pushes him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lash managing to block the knees to the body from Doe.

Doe's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Doe tries to clinch there but Lash circles away.
Lash tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Lash counters with a left and a right that stings Doe.

Lash tries to land a front kick but Doe steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Lash shoots in looking for a takedown. Doe tries to sprawl out of it but Lash keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Doe manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Lash counters with a single leg into guard. Doe didn't expect that.
Doe keeping moving, preventing Lash from controlling successfully.
Doe wants to stand but Lash is controlling the position.

Lash trying to control but Doe is working from the bottom.
Lash has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Doe is proving hard to escape from.
Lash loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Lash working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Doe's head.
Doe wants to stand but Lash is controlling the position.
Doe is breathing heavily.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Doe wants to clinch

and Lash counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Lash wants to take a breather but Doe is having none of it.
Lash might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Doe kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Doe pushes Lash off looking to stand but Lash dives back in and keeps control.
Lash stalling.

Doe tries to kick Lash off but Lash keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Lash is trying to control the action in half guard but Doe is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lash tries to stand and escape but Doe is controlling the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Lash.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bobby Lash dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Doe tries to buck Lash off but Lash takes his back!
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Doe holding both Lash 's hands and preventing any damage.
Lash lands a shot to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Lash has got one arm under Doe's chin. This could be trouble... Doe trying to control the other hand but Lash gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Doe has tapped out! The fight is over!
