The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rees changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Gracie looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Gracie is trying to get back to half guard.

Rees decides to stand back up. Rees steps back and let's Gracie get back to his feet.

Gracie bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Gracie is looking to take a break and control but Rees is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Rees tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gracie wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Rees gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
