Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nikita Rianin!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rianin throws a sloppy head kick
and Bjornsson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Bjornsson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Bjornsson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rianin is keeping the position for now.
Rianin is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bjornsson is controlling him.
Rianin wants to sweep here but Bjornsson controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bjornsson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bjornsson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Bjornsson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Bjornsson works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Bjornsson seems to be looking for submissions.

Rianin wants to get back to full guard.
Bjornsson is looking for a kimura but Rianin is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bjornsson to get the leverage.
Rianin avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bjornsson.
Bjornsson has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Rianin defend it? Bjornsson steps over the head and cranks it - Rianin is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bjornsson!
