The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Christ. Those never looked like landing.
Trismegistus changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

and Christ counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Christ connects with a body shot.
Trismegistus changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Christ tries to avoid it but Trismegistus manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Christ to the ground. Christ escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Trismegistus drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

and Christ makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yojizo Trismegistus. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Trismegistus takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Christ throws a series of punches but Trismegistus avoids them all with ease.

Christ misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Trismegistus tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Christ defends well and Trismegistus ends up having to push Christ into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Christ is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Trismegistus needs to keep his hands up - Christ had a free shot at his head there.
