Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zhivko Bsohnakov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ricardo Diaz!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Jonathan Paton and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bsohnakov shoots in and gets a takedown into Diaz's guard.
Diaz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bsohnakov is one step ahead there.
Bsohnakov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Diaz works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Bsohnakov controls from within his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Diaz is trying to keep Bsohnakov in close.
Bsohnakov decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Diaz, up you get!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bsohnakov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Diaz tries to counter with a clinch but Bsohnakov shakes him off and moves away.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Bsohnakov.
Bsohnakov shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bsohnakov was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Bsohnakov is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Diaz has escaped the position, nice work there.
Diaz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bsohnakov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bsohnakov controlling the position.

Bsohnakov advances to full mount.
Bsohnakov sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Diaz tries to hold on but Bsohnakov pushes him away.
Bsohnakov has hold of Diaz's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Diaz manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bsohnakov goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Diaz is on top in guard.
Bsohnakov is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Bsohnakov is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Diaz frees his head nicely. Oh but Bsohnakov has switched to an armbar! Diaz is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
