Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ray Cartier (ranked 2427 p4p, 25332 weight class) and Jose Anhor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ray Cartier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jose Anhor! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anhor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cartier's waist but Cartier gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Anhor off to one side. Cartier half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Anhor is defended easily by Cartier. Cartier closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Anhor quickly recovers to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cartier sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Anhor defending well though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cartier is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Cartier is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cartier connects with a nice short shot to Anhor's temple. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cartier landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Cartier stands up and beckons Anhor to join him on the feet. Anhor lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cartier circles away quickly and effectively. Cartier closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Anhor's guard. Cartier drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Cartier as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Anhor screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Cartier! Nice submission victory there!
