Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Helen Salvacion (ranked 23909 p4p, 23625 weight class) and Agbay Amiga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 37 - 49 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helen Salvacion!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 50 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Agbay Amiga!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Salvacion shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Amiga as he jumps to the side.
Amiga with the counter takedown but Salvacion avoids it easily.

Amiga shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Salvacion's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Amiga postures up.
Salvacion is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Amiga trying to stand up but can't free himself from Salvacion's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Salvacion managing to control the position.
Amiga wants to stand but Salvacion is controlling his posture from full guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Salvacion defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Amiga.
Amiga shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Salvacion looks for a takedown but Amiga sprawls well.
Amiga counters with a body kick.

Amiga decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Amiga seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Salvacion is controlling Amiga's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Amiga is controlling the pace.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Amiga prevents Salvacion from improving his position.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Agbay Amiga dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Salvacion misses with a takedown attempt
and Amiga makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Salvacion really felt that one!

Amiga has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Salvacion is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Salvacion has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Amiga has control of Salvacion's left arm, preventing Salvacion from doing any damage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Amiga can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Salvacion controls the pace.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Salvacion shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Salvacion engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Amiga pulls Salvacion in close to prevent any damage.
Salvacion tries to free his leg and advance position but Amiga is retaining full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Salvacion scoring with punches to the head and body.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Helen Salvacion dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Amiga throws a push kick but Salvacion slaps the foot to one side.
Salvacion quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Amiga avoids a kick to the body.
Salvacion throws a wild body kick that Amiga sees coming a mile off.

Salvacion closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Amiga desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Helen Salvacion overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Amiga is pressing down on Salvacion's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Amiga looking to hit a scissor sweep but Salvacion is one step ahead there.
Salvacion stays in close to Amiga's body and controls the position.
Amiga has Salvacion pulled in close to control his posture.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Salvacion is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Salvacion throwing strikes from guard but Amiga blocks nicely.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Salvacion bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Salvacion controlling the position.
Amiga is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Amiga is trying to control Salvacion's posture but Salvacion avoids it.
Salvacion takes a little break here. Amiga wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Salvacion is chipping away with strikes.

And that's the end of the fight!
Helen Salvacion showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Salvacion has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
