Joe Jr's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Punch Out Theme. Glass Joe Jr could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Santos Dumont's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joe Jr scores with a nice right hand.
Dumont has a takedown stuffed.

Dumont manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Joe Jr on his heels. He'll look to pass Joe Jr's guard now, I'm sure.

Joe Jr pushes Dumont off and gets back to his feet.

Dumont shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dumont showed some decent athleticism there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dumont is looking for a kimura but Joe Jr is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dumont to get the leverage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dumont is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Joe Jr sees it coming and defends easily.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Joe Jr throws a shot from downtown. Dumont moves away and avoids it.

Dumont takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Dumont has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Dumont looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A quick step to the side and Joe Jr tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Glass Joe Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Santos Dumont.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Oooooh!!! Joe Jr has knocked Dumont down with a huge combo! Joe Jr steps away and waves a wobbly Dumont back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Joe Jr connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Dumont covering up! Joe Jr comes in with a big uppercut and Dumont goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
