The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Belmiro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mendiola swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Belmiro jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mendiola walks away with a smile on his face. Belmiro gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Mendiola lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Belmiro at a distance.

Mendiola dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Mendiola cracks Belmiro with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Belmiro falls to his knees and Mendiola doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
