The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schneider throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Alieva was covering up waiting for the punch and Schneider finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Alieva is looking for a triangle but Schneider pushes his legs off easily.
Alieva seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Alieva is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Schneider is aware though and is defending well.
