Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Christian Street! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jose Jesus Arvelado! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Street has Arvelado up against the cage in a clinch.
Arvelado wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Street has him pressed against the cage. Arvelado is trying to break the clinch but Street has him pressed against the cage. Street manages to break the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Arvelado. Arvelado tries for a takedown but Street sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. No luck for Arvelado with that takedown attempt. Christian Street has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Jesus Arvelado. Street moves into the clinch. Street jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Arvelado walks away with a smile on his face. Arvelado is looking to work some ground and pound but Street has wrist control. Arvelado working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Street's head. Street tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Street clinches up with Arvelado and pushes him back against the cage. Arvelado tries to break the clinch but Street is controlling the position. Street tries to score a body lock takedown but Arvelado shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Street breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Arvelado misses with a takedown attempt and Street counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Street stuffs the takedown. Christian Street dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Arvelado lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Street! A nice elbow there by Arvelado. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Arvelado lands a nice shot to the head. Street is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Arvelado with shots to the head and body - Street looks very uncomfortable down there. Street is in all sorts of trouble here.

A close second round but Jose Jesus Arvelado will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Arvelado has his takedown stuffed and Street counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Arvelado's guard now. Arvelado keeping moving, preventing Street from controlling successfully. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Street fails to land the takedown. Arvelado fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Street wants to clinch up but Arvelado keeps it at a distance. Arvelado shoots in looking for a takedown. Street tries to sprawl out of it but Arvelado keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Street manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Arvelado closes the distance and clinches up with Street, looking for a takedown. Arvelado pushes Street against the cage but Street circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Arvelado misses with a series of wild punches.

Street throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Arvelado's head. Arvelado falls off balance throwing a combination
and Street holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Arvelado manages to break the clinch.

Arvelado makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Arvelado.
And that's the end of the fight! Christian Street showed his dominance in that final round. Well Street has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
