Mesquita has hold of one of Archer's legs. Archer is fighting the takedown attempt but Mesquita gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mesquita content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Archer has locked up a guillotine! Archer's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Mesquita is holding on here and Archer must be using up a lot of energy. Mesquita has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Archer gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
