The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Chai clinches up with Gean and pushes him back against the ropes.
Gean has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Chai's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Gean is holding on here and Chai must be using up a lot of energy. Gean has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Chai gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
