The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Suarez defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kamenev. Kamenev darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Kamenev (2) vs (0) Suarez Kamenev trying to mount his opponent but Suarez defends it. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Suarez keeps trying to improve his position. Suarez wants to control but Kamenev is having none of it. Suarez is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Suarez reaches up to try and pull Kamenev in and control his posture, but Kamenev latches on to an arm and pivots quickly for an armbar! Suarez taps out and this one is all over!
