Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frans Kronstedth (ranked 2797 p4p, 5370 weight class) and Josiah Ng (ranked 210 p4p, 318 weight class). Josiah Ng is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Frans Kronstedth! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Josiah Ng! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kronstedth lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Kronstedth throws a hook to the side of Ng's head but Ng sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Kronstedth throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ng unleashes a big counter combination but Kronstedth bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Kronstedth has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Tank Factory in the buildup to the fight. Kronstedth scores with a jab to the head.
Ng shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kronstedth as he jumps to the side. Kronstedth connects with a right hand. Ng shakes it off. The fight stays on the outside here - Ng looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kronstedth misses with a looping right. Ng is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Ng has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Ng there as he acknowledges the shot. Kronstedth tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ng was well out of range. Poor timing from Kronstedth. Frans Kronstedth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kronstedth throws a lazy uppercut
and Ng counters with a single leg into guard. Kronstedth didn't expect that. Kronstedth on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kronstedth tries to get out of the position. Ng thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kronstedth controls Ng momentarily but Ng frees himself. Kronstedth is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ng defends well. Ng scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Ng tries to free his leg and advance position but Kronstedth is retaining full guard. Ng passes easily into side control. Nice work. Ng wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kronstedth, who protects the arm well. Ng lands an elbow. Ng working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Ng throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kronstedth wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Ng working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Ng is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kronstedth knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Ng working away. Ng has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kronstedth is looking to regain half guard here but Ng keeps moving and retains side control. Ng working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Both fighters take a look at the clock.

Ng gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Kronstedth is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Ng lets go of the hold and Kronstedth can pop his arm back in it's socket.
